Conference participation and abstract submission
Oral or poster presentations will be welcome on the topics mentioned in the Topics of this web site. Participation is open to any one involved in the R&D, teaching, consultancy, planning, etc, from all over the world. Prospective participants are invited to contribute papers to be presented as short oral or posters. Abstract of the paper (about 250 words) should be prepared using an interactive form of Acrobat "pdf" format opening from this page or downloading it. (Please use the corresponding button below). After filling the form it should be sent back by e-mail to the secretariat of ICBF-2006 (e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org). For convenience, the proper submission button, at the bottom of the form could be used. If you are not familiar with forms on line or you have difficulties opening of form using your old Acrobat Reader you can use the conventional way of MS Word document format sending your abstract in this format by e-mail as attached or by post. Possibly, some difficulties may you overcome by downloading the Acrobat Reader ver. 7.0 and substituting your old version by this. Please use the proper button below.
All abstracts for both oral and poster presentations will be included in the book of Abstracts/Conference proceedings. Abstracts of the plenary and invited lectures and of contributory presentations will be also published. It is proposed to publish the proceedings in book form by including the reviewed and edited manuscripts of the plenary and invited lectures.
Publication of research papers
Research papers presented in the congress will be published in a special issue* of the international journal of Food Technology and Biotechnology. Upon acceptance of the abstract, authors must submit full manuscripts prepared following the Instructions for Authors for the journal and submit it to the Convener of the congress. All the manuscripts would be subjected to peer review as per journal norms. Instructions for Authors are included below in a downloadable document in "pdf" form.

Preparation of posters
Space of 1.1 m2 (1,1x1,1 m) will be available and a number will be allotted, for each poster, which will be mounted on the top of the board by the organizers. Top section of the poster should indicate its title, authors, address(es), and affiliations. It is suggested to divide the contents of the poster into Introduction, Results and Conclusions. More instructions will be exhibit later along with the program of presentations of the congress.
